I’m very biased towards bioluminescence. I also love insects, especially treehoppers. So I mashed them all together.None have actual names but here’s some placeholders.
1: Small Bastard. Is actually a fruit fly, with the helmet of Membracis bucktoni.
2: Twin Tables. Flat. They pin themselves between bark layers. They’re just beetles.
3: Top Heavy. A moth and draws inspiration from the Brazilian treehopper.
4: Big Bastard. Massive and awkward, it has the prominent horn of Cladonota sp.
5: Leg Man. A crane fly, not a mosquito. Has the butt fluff of a treehopper nymph.
