the universefeels heavy
inside my
head.
stars scattered
across my skin,
like freckles,
strung together -
constellations
on my fingertips.
my eyes eclipse
and i sense
distant galaxies
strewn across
the darkness.
the longing grows.
i breathe in
starlight,
breathe out
nebulas.
my thoughts,
comets:
multitudes,
in quick
succession,
and full
of light.
let me be
the astronaut;
let me be
iridescent.
