I'm not big (rimshot) on Smash and haven't played any except Brawl's story mode, but watching E3 yesterday got me genuinely interested in the new game. And of course, I'm overjoyed to see that everyone's favorite space dragon finally got meme'd into Smash.

I'll be perfectly honest, I don't really know how Ridley is. I think he was in Smash when it first came to the Wii, but that's about all that I know of him. Also, this comic was funny. Had no idea people wanted that scary bat thing to be playable.

Ridley is a main villain in the Metroid series, standing as one of it's most well known and iconic villains. Ridley was featured in Brawl as a boss in the Story Mode twice and was one of the stage bosses in Wii U. Him being in the game as a playable character was a meme among players, comonly joking that he was "too big" for smash... So much for being too bug, huh?

I'm not a Metroid fan, so ya can't really blame me for not being familiar with Ridley outside that one boss battle for Super Smash Bros. on the Wii. But, yeah. I can see why fans would consider him "too big" for Smash. HE IS HUGE!!!
