Description
Photoshop work practice. Made the eye in photoshop with the center piece of my "Eye-sore" drawing as the basis to see how well I could recreate it with a mouse (god I need a drawing tablet...).The surrounding area is a combination of bryce and PS work.
I accidently left my drawing supplies at someones house, so I just decided to get some photoshop practice in, and make myself a new background. Hope someone likes it.
If requested, the original is 1600x1200, and I can upload it if you use that high of screen res and want it.

You did a pretty good job with just your mouse. XP
I think it turned out great~ ^^ Like the colors too, they work out nicely.

Not exactly just the mouse, I kinda cheated and used the center eye from my drawing with all the eyes. >_<;

hot man---really like this one---looks like an eye hooked up into some kind of system that controls it---really cool

Oh yeah. This piece keeps expanding on its central focus without loosing its edge. It's smooth and well shaded in a way that looks simple but is, as we find out as soon as we try out the ol'photoshop, very, very difficult to intigrate into a piece. The colour choices, especially the addition of white as both light and the white of the eyeball, really stand out against eachother. This is stylish with a great sense of design that holds the viewer, and a realism that's so cyberspace. Cyber-Realism? Very, very cool work.

Wow, thanks for that very in depth critique! The eye and the "fins", i guess, were done with vectors that I later rasterized to make use of other photoshop goodies, the background was almost entirely bryce, with the exception of some blending, and the circular lines. I really like bryce, but most people look at it as just for lanscape stuff, but there is a lot of stuff to be done with it if one goes outside the box. Much apreciated for the comment.

Fantastic work, it certainly is impressive. The striped, circular lines that radiate ooutwards are really amazing.

Hehe, that was actually one of the easiest parts, as PS CS has a filter for that, it was the blending and the eye that took the most time.....grrr vectors.... I need a tablet! hehe, thanks for the comment.

Oh, something more digital this time? Well, if I may express my opinion, I really fell in love with your traditionals. You put a lot of art into them and it's visible in every line and shade. Digital art has lately become much popular, probably too popular. This makes this drawing ordinary. I don't say it's bad, it is a very interesting idea, but the thing is that I can't see any spirit in it, the "thing" I feel in all your marvellous traditional drawings. This is the opinion of mine-an old-fashioned traditional media lover

I understand, thanks for honesty. I think i could do much better if I had a tablet, but money won't allow right now. +this was mostly just practice with photoshop, not a serious art piece, thats why I put as a background. Thanks for the comment!

Thanks Linda! Left my drawing supplies at a friends house, so I figured i'dd brush up on photoshop a bit, nothing too great, but untill I get a tablet, i'm not going to try anything real time consuming. (drawing with a mouse is a pain in the ....) Thanks for the comment.

Hey thanks. Though it is practice with photoshop, I'm not going to use it as a background if I don't like it, hehe. Thanks for the comment
