These strange 4 meters high herbivores possessed a tentacle-like limb derivative of the old "tail" of their ancestors. This limb was led them to more far.

Had not been discovered their abilities until had already created their own advanced civilization, which had been detected by several of the "new machines". When their homeword was discovered, it had started a big debate about whether to let them live, or take them to extinction. For many, a new Qu, a reincarnation might suggest that's been enough to return to have another opportunity, however, others were fearing thus restarting the narcissistic and dangerous species.

In the end, it would give an opportunity to the new civilization of Qu, like they were allowed to live the machines. It would welcome, not as the monsters they had mutilated humanity, but as a new dynasty

The only thing they could not make was interfere with the development of their civilization. Humanity had left them in control of their destiny into their own hands... or tentacle in this case. They would only intervene when they began to try to colonize other worlds.

But, by bad luck, one of the most predictable things had happened, their civilization had entered a war between various factions of their own species for resources that abound in their solar system. At the height of their civilization, and on the threshold of interstellar colonization and the likely redemption, they ended with all its opportunity in a short war of 100 years, which, I take them to extinction.

11) Homis

Qu was only the projection of crazy, blind faith, a complacency that had been fused with strong technological capabilities, leading them on a journey of 1.5 billion years of pain and misery for thousands of species and civilizations.

There is still much to discover about the past of these beings for a long time were among galaxies, conquering them and changing all, until the time when they were stopped by the "United galaxies".

Los PostQu que sobrevivieron, gradualmente, perdieron la conciencia y se sumieron en la vida de los instintos propios, sin tratar de razonar o pensar sobre su medio, olvidando asi todo lo que los hacían, los dioses falsos que fueron.
El resultado de la radiación fue la evolución de cientos de linajes que se habían adaptado a sus entornos, su apariencia cambio completamente de sus ancestro en común, muchos de ellos habían pasado por alrededor de 100 millones de años luchando por su supervivencia en la carrera evolutiva. Algunos cayeron, y otros prosperaron. Se podrían mencionar algunos ejemplos:

Estos gráciles voladores, revoloteaban en los cielos tranquilos de un planeta habitable enano de apenas de 6000 km de diámetro. Este pequeño mundo, resultó ser un mundo que se sumía en el caos con el paso del tiempo por su desintegrada y delgada atmosfera, su volátil clima, y sobretodo, por su débil campo magnético que ha permitido la entrada de la dañina radiación solar.

Aun con las probabilidades, en los polos del pequeño planeta, ofrecieron un hábitat ideal en donde estas criaturas pudieron vivir. Estas criaturas son nectarívoros, absorben los fluidos provenientes de diferentes y aberrantes formas de vida autótrofas, algunas extraterrestres, otras, originalmente humanas. Sus vidas pasaban rapido, su metabolismo era bastante acelerado por sus esbelto y pequeño tamaño, esto habia sido compenzado por una capacidad enorme de reproduccion, que les permitió mantener un ritmo constante que lograba estabilizar poblaciones saludables.

3) Mite

Otras de las pequeñas y reducidas formas de los Ex-“dioses estelares” había quedado resignada a la vida como “parásitos”. entre la carne y piel de las criaturas avanzadas. No fueron más que meras criaturas diminutas. Apiñadas en las pieles de algunos post-hombres que habitaban un planeta al borde de convertirse en una bola de nieve debido a que estaban demasiado lejos de su estrella. Su hábitat estaba resignado al cuerpo de sus anfitriones designados, sin alguna posibilidad de pasarse a otro huésped ya que exponerse de manera física al medio ambiente los mataría al instante.

4) Globcloud

Algunos planetas gaseosos resultaron ser bastante adecuados para la habitabilidad, siendo capaces de mantener formas de vida complejas, y fueron uno de los varios candidatos a ser los mundos para mantener a los post-Qu. De ahí llegaron a desarrollarse diversidad de especies, desde formas depredadoras de alta velocidad, pasando por el aéreo-plancton, hasta las formas largas como serpientes, y finalmente, los flotadores. El Globcloud se caracteriza por ser una de las forma post-Qu mas grandes que pudo haber existido, alcanzando los 50 metros de diámetro. Fueron apacibles Y gentiles flotadores que utilizaban sus cerdas bucales para recolectar las grandes cantidades de plancton que flotaban en la atmosfera de su mundo de residencia.

5) Equinodermos

Los planetas de mayor tamaño, con una gravedad varias veces superior a la gravedad promedio de un meso-planeta, mantuvieron a unas extrañas variedades de los post-Qu.

Estas criaturas eran bajas, con 5 tentáculos extendidos de su centro, con dos tallos oculares de los cuales sobresalían sus enormes ojos diseñados para percibir su mundo en todas las direcciones. Para las civilizaciones de algunos mundos primigenios dirigidos por los terrestres, vieron un potencial enorme para el uso de los post-Qu como bestias domesticas, especialmente como bestias de carga. El equine jugó el papel mas importante en la historia de muchos pueblos de las primeras civilizaciones reconstruidas, ya que permitió la propagación de los sujetos sub-hombres y varios de sus dominios por cada parte de cada uno de sus mundos.

Siendo la criatura útil del momento, su estancia en estos mundos coloniales resultó ser agradable y apacible. Pero al final, había sido solo un experimento, que al terminar, rápidamente, fueron exterminados y borrados de la faz del mundo cuando sus habitantes desarrollaron sus propios medios de transporte, y dejaron abandonados a sus mascotas. No hubo ni alegría ni llanto, solo silencio, y los ruidos de los transportes artificiales.

7) Nightmarejaw

Entre las improbabilidades de que algún linaje “ascendiera” a posiciones más prominentes, en las cadenas alimentarias en algún ecosistema, había surgido la pesadilla. Este monstruo fue un gran macro-depredador, que por millones de años había devorado a decenas de especies de sub-hombres primitivos. La mayoría de las pesadillas eran bípedas, sus extremidades delanteras se empezaron a atrofiar y poseían enormes mandíbulas conformadas por varias piezas bucales derivadas de las delgadas pinzas. Sin la competencia, ellos evolucionaron hasta convertirse en los depredadores ápex de su planeta. Aquí, sin el control alguno de los hombres-dioses, estos grandes depredadores se diversificaron en decenas de especies.

8) Mangler

Otro de las formas depredadoras que habitaron los mundos libre del control humano, se habian adaptado para conquistar los ambientes arbóreos, la mayoría perdió parte de sus extremidades y se habían convertido en criaturas serpentinas. El mangler fue parte de estos macro-depredadores, que había de un modo reevolucionado las largas y delgadas pinzas, los ojos sostenidos por los tallos oculares y sobre todo la larga y estrecha cabeza, haciendo un recordatorio a sus ancestros.

9) Leafeyes

Todos los Post-Qu, vistas hasta ahora, solo han derivado hacia formas de vida heterótrofa, capaz de moverse en sus ambientes. Sin embargo, no todas estuvieron tan radiados entre las criaturas moviles. Algunos de ellos, al prncipio, habian sido modificado para ser criaturas sesiles que solo absorbian los nutrientes de sus alrededores, algunos de ellos fueron mas alla y evolucionaron hacia criaturas autotrofas, haciendo simbiosis, con bacterias fotosinteticas.

El lugar donde residia el proceso de fotosintesis ocurria en las estructuras cristalinas derivadas de los ojos, los cuales, se modificaron. el intercambio de gases sucedia en los tallos de las "hojas"

El medio ambiente en donde prosperaron, fue un planeta ubicado en una pequeña estrella enana roja, donde este mundo no tenia noche, o dia. Un lado se quemaba, y el otro se congelaba. La parte media del planeta, la zona de crepusculo ofreció el medioambiente ideal para su supervivencia. Ellos simplemente solo apuntaban hacia el lado del sol, sin moverse, perpetuamente orientados a su estrella.

10) Vermin

Tanto como los depredadores, los herbívoros aparecieron al azar de un planeta a otro. Algo increíble, ya que habían estado por bastante tiempo suprimidos ante el yugo de la humanidad. El Vermin había estado en camino de ser uno de los primeros PostQu que habria recuperado la sapiencia. Algo sorprendente, ya que habían sido suprimidos durante mucho tiempo por el yugo de la humanidad.

Estos extraños herbívoros de 4 metros de altura, poseían un apéndice similar a un tentáculo derivado de la antigua “cola” de sus ancestros. Este apéndice los llevó a cruzar muchas mas fronteras.

No se había descubierto de sus capacidades hasta que habían ya creado su propia civilización avanzada, la cual había sido detectada por varias de las “nuevas maquinas”. Cuando se supo de este descubrimiento, había empezado un gran debate acerca si dejarlos vivir, o si llevarlos a la extinción. Para mucho, un nuevo reinicio del Qu, una reencarnación podría sugerir que han pasado lo suficiente para que volvieran a tener una nueva oportunidad, sin embargo, otros estaban temiendo tanto por el reinicio de la narcisista y peligrosa especie.

Al final, se iba a dar una oportunidad hacia la nueva civilización del Qu, como se les permitió vivir a las maquinas. Se le iba a dar la bienvenida, no a los monstruos que habían mutilado a la humanidad, sino a una nueva dinastía.

La única cosa que no podían hacer, era interferir en el desarrollo de su civilización. La humanidad les habían dejado el control de su destino en sus propias manos... o mejor dicho tentaculo. Solo iban a intervenir cuando ellos empezaran a intentar colonizar otros mundos.

A mala suerte, una de las cosas mas predecibles había ocurrido, su civilización había entrado en una guerra entre varias facciones de su propia especie por los recursos que abundaban en su sistema solar. En la cúspide de su civilización, y en el umbral de la colonización interestelar y en la probable redención, acabaron con toda su oportunidad en una corta guerra de 100 años, la cual, los llevo a la extinción.

11) Homis

Después de la cúspide que había alcanzado el Vermin, siendo el único ejemplo de la inteligencia recobrada por el Qu, se pensó que no iba a volver a verse a otro posible descendiente de estos volver a ser sapientes. Cuando la humanidad quiso aplastar a su antiguo enemigo, ahora querían que volviera, para ver si había cambiado, si iban a ser otros. Intentaron dar una esperanza a una especie pequeña de aspecto humanoide, moldeada tanto por la mano de la naturaleza como de los dioses humanos. Esperaban que con un inicio similar a la humanidad original, pudiera llevarlos al mismo camino.

Se tenia la esperanza que su plan corporal fuera el apropiado para el reinicio de una sapiencia natural. Pero, como todo lo que pasa en el universo, nada es como lo que se espera. Lo que quedó al final del los remanentes del Qu en la galaxia después de su castigo no fue mas que las historias y los registros que dejó la civilización humana antes de irse. Las formas salvajes que con pocas probabilidades, sobrevivieron más que la humanidad, habían desaparecido cuando sus mundos fueron afectados por enormes catástrofes a escala planetaria.

Aun hay mucho que descubrir acerca del pasado de estos seres que por mucho tiempo estuvieron entre galaxias, conquistándolas y cambiándolas a su antojo, todo, hasta el momento en el que fueron detenidos por las “Galaxias unidas”.

Estas criaturas son nectarívoros, absorben los fluidos provenientes de diferentes y aberrantes formas de vida autótrofas, algunas extraterrestres, otras, originalmente humanas. Sus vidas pasaban rapido, su metabolismo era bastante acelerado por sus esbelto y pequeño tamaño, esto habia sido compenzado por una capacidad enorme de reproduccion, que les permitió mantener un ritmo constante que lograba estabilizar poblaciones saludables.

Otras de las pequeñas y reducidas formas de los Ex-“dioses estelares” había quedado resignada a la vida como “parásitos”. entre la carne y piel de las criaturas avanzadas. Apiñadas en las pieles de algunos post-hombres que habitaban un planeta al borde de convertirse en una bola de nieve debido a que estaban demasiado lejos de su estrella. Algunos planetas gaseosos resultaron ser bastante adecuados para la habitabilidad, siendo capaces de mantener formas de vida complejas, y fueron uno de los varios candidatos a ser los mundos para mantener a los post-Qu. Otro de las formas depredadoras que habitaron los mundos libre del control humano, se habian adaptado para conquistar los ambientes arbóreos, la mayoría perdió parte de sus extremidades y se habían convertido en criaturas serpentinas. El mangler fue parte de estos macro-depredadores, que había de un modo reevolucionado las largas y delgadas pinzas, los ojos sostenidos por los tallos oculares y sobre todo la larga y estrecha cabeza, haciendo un recordatorio a sus ancestros.

Todos los Post-Qu, vistas hasta ahora, solo han derivado hacia formas de vida heterótrofa, capaz de moverse en sus ambientes. El medio ambiente en donde prosperaron, fue un planeta ubicado en una pequeña estrella enana roja, donde este mundo no tenia noche, o dia. Un lado se quemaba, y el otro se congelaba. La parte media del planeta, la zona de crepusculo ofreció el medioambiente ideal para su supervivencia. Ellos simplemente solo apuntaban hacia el lado del sol, sin moverse, perpetuamente orientados a su estrella.

Tanto como los depredadores, los herbívoros aparecieron al azar de un planeta a otro. Algo increíble, ya que habían estado por bastante tiempo suprimidos ante el yugo de la humanidad. El Vermin había estado en camino de ser uno de los primeros PostQu que habria recuperado la sapiencia. Algo sorprendente, ya que habían sido suprimidos durante mucho tiempo por el yugo de la humanidad.

Al final, se iba a dar una oportunidad hacia la nueva civilización del Qu, como se les permitió vivir a las maquinas. Se le iba a dar la bienvenida, no a los monstruos que habían mutilado a la humanidad, sino a una nueva dinastía.

La única cosa que no podían hacer, era interferir en el desarrollo de su civilización. La humanidad les habían dejado el control de su destino en sus propias manos... o mejor dicho tentaculo. Solo iban a intervenir cuando ellos empezaran a intentar colonizar otros mundos.

A mala suerte, una de las cosas mas predecibles había ocurrido, su civilización había entrado en una guerra entre varias facciones de su propia especie por los recursos que abundaban en su sistema solar. En la cúspide de su civilización, y en el umbral de la colonización interestelar y en la probable redención, acabaron con toda su oportunidad en una corta guerra de 100 años, la cual, los llevo a la extinción.

11) Homis

Después de la cúspide que había alcanzado el Vermin, siendo el único ejemplo de la inteligencia recobrada por el Qu, se pensó que no iba a volver a verse a otro posible descendiente de estos volver a ser sapientes. Cuando la humanidad quiso aplastar a su antiguo enemigo, ahora querían que volviera, para ver si había cambiado, si iban a ser otros. Intentaron dar una esperanza a una especie pequeña de aspecto humanoide, moldeada tanto por la mano de la naturaleza como de los dioses humanos. Esperaban que con un inicio similar a la humanidad original, pudiera llevarlos al mismo camino.

Se tenia la esperanza que su plan corporal fuera el apropiado para el reinicio de una sapiencia natural. Pero, como todo lo que pasa en el universo, nada es como lo que se espera. La especie había tenido las oportunidades, y aun asi, nunca lo lograron. Las criaturas humanoides no eran mas que criaturas absentas de algún tipo de inteligencia.

Este experimento al final fue abandonado, y las criaturas participantes de este fueron dejadas libres en aquel mundo el cual después de un tiempo murió sin remedio

Epilogo

Lo que quedó al final del los remanentes del Qu en la galaxia después de su castigo no fue mas que las historias y los registros que dejó la civilización humana antes de irse. Las formas salvajes que con pocas probabilidades, sobrevivieron más que la humanidad, habían desaparecido cuando sus mundos fueron afectados por enormes catástrofes a escala planetaria.

Su intento de moldear al universo a su retorcida imagen los había llevado al final a la ruina. Habria que pensar de que ellos, con su interminable conocimiento, jamas pensaron que su gran poder podria haber sido desafiado, o que iban a encontrar a algun adversario capaz de hacerles frente. El Qu no fue sino la proyección de una locura, de una fe ciega, de una autocomplacencia que había sido fusionada con una gran capacidad tecnológica, lo que los llevó en una travesía de 1.5 billones de años de dolor y desgracia para millares de especies y civilizaciones.

Aun hay mucho que descubrir acerca del pasado de estos seres que por mucho tiempo estuvieron entre galaxias, conquistándolas y cambiándolas a su antojo, todo, hasta el momento en el que fueron detenidos por las “Galaxias unidas”.

Quien sabe que queda, esta historia apenas se esta revelando.
