The "Megaursus" is a concept of a probable herbivorous species of bear that would reach an enormous size to specialize its diet more to plants than meat, making it one of the largest carnivores that are never existed (Not counting the pinniped) with more than five meters of long and and a 1.5 tons of weight.Related content

So around the same weight but much larger in proportions than arctotherium? thats one huge bear!

At the time I did not measure well the weight in relation to the length it would probably be heavier

It's like you read my mind.My mini-project "Future of the Holocene" has a genus of giant herbivorous bears with 5 species tat range from 800 kg to 6 or 7 tons.They have 1 specie in Europe , 1 in North America and the others live in Asia.
