Description
Occasionally, you find a scene that really catches your eye. I found this tractor sitting at the top of a hill off of route 219 near Deep Creek, Maryland. I was up to my akles in mud trying to get the right angle, but it was all worth it.* Re-posted due to a problem with the site.

Nice picture. The white tractor goes well against the blue sky and the green grass. Great job.

awesome photo. the composition is just wonderful, and the colors and lighting are even greater. how did you get the foreshortening like that, some sort of fish eye lense??? anyways, this looks great.

wow, very nice. i like the saturation of the colors, giving it a surreal look to it.
i guess my only question is what focal length did you shoot this with, looks like a pretty wide angle, wonderful, i'm a big fan of wide angle and the compositions they provide.

In reply to ~stayorgo: For this shot, I simply used the camera's integral metering system--it typically handles daylight shots with good accuracy. f/11 @ 1/350.

Those colors look a bit oversaturated, but I do enjoy the composition.
What's a bit of mud when you can take photos like this?
Great job.

Well done, love the angle, the colours, and the composition of the shot. The mud was worth it. What was the exposure and what did you meter off of? Seems a little hot.

I used an ultra wide-angle lens at 19mm, but the curve is simply a hill, not the horizon.

I like the idea of taking a picture of a tractor, and I think you've got the ideal version of that here. Great, bright colors; and is that a hill, or did you use a fisheye?
