Description Because snorkeling's fun.

Requested from MystFoxcoon a bit less than a week ago. Ain't it lovely? If it's not my finest work yet, it's surely one of the best! He asked me to draw Yoshi underwater, so here you have it!
I really have to know what I'm drawing, though. I mean, if I were asked to draw benthic scenery without researching it first, I probably wouldn't have made it past algae, haha. And coral. I'm just a bit disappointed with the fish, but I guess it'll come along with time.

Wow... I love under water drawings..
Your style is awesome, different from things I'm used to.. It all looks really great, I'm impressed how you don't just focus on the character, but create a great environment around it. This fish there and the corals make wonderful decorations. What I also like is this treasure chest in the background ^^
Yoshi himself looks just cute :3
He seems to be impressed by the world around him too.
This will definatelly go to be one of my favourite drawings here on da..

Thanks! I really want to put more focus on backgrounds, and I've got very tempting ideas blooming, but I'm definitely not abandoning characters for as much.
