Description
So I drew and put together the new banner for Ozformers Transformers Collectors Australia . It's of Beast General Predaking , Monster General Abominus and Dinosaur General Trypticon - three of the nine Destron Demon Generals from the Transformers: Zone Original Video Animation and Manga. In Zone, the Demon Generals all cosplay as humans, or at least they all wear 'armoured gear'. Basically I love it whenever Transformers wear clothes. Because it's simultaneously awesome and hilarious. Seriously, a robot tyrannosaurus dressed as an ancient Roman - that's three of my obsessions in one image. I've drawn them as if Takara had released Abominus, Predaking and Trypticon as toys with their Zone Armoured Gear as accessories, and this is the 'box art'. In the background are the three faces of their Emperor, Violen Jiger or it's just a Rorschach test in the night sky. These three were drawn in pencil, black ink and acrylic paint, then scanned in and Photoshopped. On the OTCA banner, they're complete with a bad 'general' pun: "Generally, we rule." Ha.
