Description
This is the last of the new 6, that I took with me to the Vengeance Art show. It's a pic of She-Hulk. Hulk's cousin looks mad yawlz! I dunno why but she is pretty fun to draw. This was also the more popular of the new 6 so yay?Overall I am happy with how I did. Vengeance was fun as hell. Great art, gorgeous women, some of them strollin' around naked lol good times. Now it's time to create new things. Into the mountains I go!

Appreciate it BMcGill!! Strangely enough it's my most popular piece on Deviant art lol. Maybe I should draw more of her?

I'm late to the party, but she looks great! Β I like how most of the artists on here draw her as feminine AND having muscle! I guess comics are still a "boy's club" as the ideal for women in them is model-like. They should look strong, they can do most of the things the guys can do. But, the guys have to be giant, because we readers want to be them.Β
anyway, rant over. Again, excellent work! also, "Just Rage" is a HulkΒ speciality!

The thing that has always bugged me about that duality is that it's a social construct that isn't true. Muscle being masculine is a construct of culture. If a woman's body was not meant to look a certain way than it would not, no matter what her genetics are, and no matter how much weigh she lifts.
I approached it as what I saw as sensible. The trend is to do what is conventional. What is conventional for me is contradictory and illogical.
We have a heroine called bigness woman, but it isn't seen as sexy so we shelf common sense and make her not big, even though there is a bigness man, who's treated with more respect design wise and is allowed to not be "traditionally attractive" because suddenly people want to do what makes sense.
The characters new direction feels like a breath of fresh air. Like ok, let's finally do the thing.Β
I didn't mean to answer a rant with a rant lol. I'm jazzed that you like the pic. You can probably tell I feel strongly about some things. I should probably relax and just be the change I want to see in my own comic. I'll be doing another pic of her soon, as a commissioner wants a bunch of comic powerhouses, so those will trickling in as I complete them.

yeah, having muscles and height are definitely associated men men, for sure.Β And women are eye candy. But if a woman is really strong then, it upsets the order of things! D:Β
and that's OK to answer a rant with a ant.Β Keep on making great art, and looking forward to that next She-Hulk!

Glad you like it dood She was pretty fun to draw. I dunno why most of the art I see of this character is thin and tall, but superbrawny just seemed appropriate to me.

In fact,i'm very thankful with you
because i love to see her very muscular.
I'm a bodybuilders fan
but it seems nearly nobody like
to use themΒ as models for illustrations.
Of course, i find many works on the Web
but usually with a sexual toneΒ too much unfit for my topics.

This character just simply needs to be hulkish. People get too hooked up in making female characters "hot" or universally desirable.

Yeah, you're right.
(In my case, the girls like bodybuilders are the most desirable)
Thus, i devised so my OCs.
