My wife…?
My wife is an angel…
A pearl…
The most precious thing in the world to me besides my children.
We met in New York at her friend’s wedding, hence where Troy got his name. At the time I worked as a wedding planner and only tailored as a side job… which in retrospect perhaps wedding planner was not the healthiest career choice for me.
But I found love and I will never let her go. Before we married life was unbearably lonely. I would rather die than be lonely ever again.
I miss her so much. I hope she comes home to me soon.

So to clarify, Eddie’s “wife” is nothing but a delusion composed of all his favorite traits from past victims. The whole part one of the comic takes place inside the lucid dream state of Eddie Gluskin while he is being subjected to morphogenic engine treatments. The whole Eddie being a professional wedding planner in the past is purely head canon, but I can picture it so well.
Part one was deceivingly cutesy. The dreams will gradually deteriorate into nightmares.
