Description
At the request of a teammate I am showing this charcoal series. 6 hour drawings from live models. Really look first, measure twice, mark once. You got to get some technique before you get that style!Related content

Ahhhh! Beautiful! I'm taking a life drawing class in college and it's my first time ever using charcoal and it's also been a long time since I've done much traditional art so I am struggling!

wow this is such a strong work! I really like your composition and the effect as if there is a light right behind her back, so her body seems surrealistic and 3-dimensional at the same time.
well it's hard to describe but I think that's an excellent work!

Very thought-provoking. I like the hot spot near the subject's back, and I especially like the fact that I had to stare at it for a minute before my brain could catch up to my heart. It makes me think of a woman who's given herself up completely for something and resigned herself to an incomplete life at the same time.

I absolutely adore this one! It's so interesting with how you faded it into the background while also being extremely well rendered! I'm amazed! <3
