this is how it was made: pure black backdrop. lightig from behind with a 500 tungsten worklight. light just behind her head so that the reflector was fully covered. exposure on the orange slice. slight telephoto lens @ f=4. in photoshop: all visible skin areas darkened except for the ones that are important to understand the image. slightly rotated
that was it!
