Redirect to original
Description
I wanted to draw something sort of vaguely cheesecakey but, at the same time, completely not cheesecakey. Also, for some reason, upside-down girls always seem to come out looking more interesting than my normal ones. Or something.So... yeah.
It's sort of possibly meant to be Yuko, ish, but drawing recognisable faces was never my strong suit, especial when they're the wrong way up and with hair splayed about all over the place.
I ended up having to redraw pretty much everything from the waist up (or down, depending on how you look at it) - the original torso was really horrible. I'd show it off, but I don't feel like embarrassing myself today.
Sort of tempted-ish to do more with it, but who knows :3

Yuko, the Japanese greavure model? I make a scrap of her too! But I remove it because nobody seems to like it T.T
I draw Matsugane Yoko too, I love that woman! And recently a girl called Ishiki something, very pretty!
I like this drawing very much, and I do share with you the non ability to draw recognizable faces, is a pain! Well thatβs why the camera was invented for! Right?

Hehe, nope, not the same person - I'm not sure I've come across someone real called Yuko, and this is just a character I made up a few years ago.
But I'm glad you like it, regardless

You write like a British, I can almost hear the accent, cool!
Oh well, guess I got too exited for nothing, but I still like that draw!

i think you did a great job, but it's her thighs/waist that really sell it, methink. They're just really... shapely, for lack of a better term.

I completely agree :3 I threw most of it except those parts away when I had my second attempt at it... something about them made me want to do a better job X3

that's usually how it goes, heh. One of these days though i'd like to see some cleaner linearts, your style lends itself to coloring, at least in my opinion.

Thanks :3 It has... a few things that I think could do with tweaking, but overall I am strangely happy with it. Most unusual XD

How do you make your line art so clean? I have tried and failed many times now...
Anyway, good job! You are one of my greatest inspirations.

I wish I had some amazing secret I could share with you, but... well, it's just prodigious use of the eraser tool. If I like a picture enough (as I did in this case), then I tend to take a bit of care with keeping it tidy and making it tidy at the end... otherwise I'm happy with scribbles everywhere

I see. Being lazy kinda makes that difficult XD. Thank you so much for commenting back! You are like one of my idols! Did you do this in Photoshop?

drcloud In reply to chuubi [2007-09-07 02:36:06 +0000 UTC]
Aww *flattered*
I didn't use Photoshop for this. I've never really got the hang of drawing straight into Photoshop, though I use it a lot for colouring stuff. This picture was drawn in OpenCanvas. For some reason, all the brushes and stuff feel really nice in that, to me :3
Aaaand... being lazy is bad! Well, sometimes. Though, to be honest, I'm probably not one to talk... X3

chuubi In reply to drcloud [2007-09-07 02:42:06 +0000 UTC]
Do you buy OpenCanvas in a store or do you download it off the internet? Actually, why am I asking. I can do research XD.
It looks like an awesome program! I know...being lazy is very bad XP. I am starting to put more effort into my stuff so I can get better (like backgrounds and stuff).
Yeah, I feel like I am talking to a celebrity or something. XD

I absolutely adore it.

Somehow I figured you'd like it... I think that's a good thing ;3
As for "getting sexier"... that could either mean I'm accidentally making her more attractive, or she was always meant to be that way and I just couldn't get it right. Who knows!
*secretive*

That's what you think! Mwahahaha...
...ha. The laughter seems a bit hollow since I don't actually have an evil masterplan. >.>

InstantOatmeal13 In reply to drcloud [2007-09-07 01:55:49 +0000 UTC]
Yeah. If there's nothing behind it, the evil laugh is just a noise.
You should do what I do and come up with a list of evil masterplans. That way, when you feel the need for evil laughter, you just pick one and laugh, even if it's irrelevant.

Every day, in every way, I get slightly more scared of you ;3
Most of my evil masterplans tend to be limited to computer games... probably for the best, really.

As you should. Fear is to be expected. >:3
And most of my evil plans involve kittens and chocolate pudding, so I wouldn't worry too much.
