Description One of my characters from the game Dwarf Fortress and pen/paper RPGs.
Highlights include;
Punching a fellow dwarf for weeks on end, long enough to complain of thirst and hunger.
Holding the gate to a city alone against goblins while other soldiers were too busy sleeping or partying.
Forging a battleaxe that "menaces with spikes of battleaxe".
And many other violent shenanigans...

If you guys have no idea what I'm talking about, then you should check out Dwarf Fortress.
Still need to work on my colouring and backgrounds...

So this is the legendaryΒ Fergus The Fornicator AxeAxes the AngerThreat? My hat clearly goes down to him and to you for having this badass between your Dorf ranks Hehe, a Battleaxe that menaces with spikes of Battleaxe~ I now know who exactly is having this legendary weapon thanks to you

No problem, you deserve them, and since I`ve read about all the great stories you had/probably still have from Dwarf Fortress playing in a really long-ass comment chain with DanVzare I had stumbled across "by accident" (and where I had read about this Legend as well), I`m now kind of eager to see more of this, especially if you decide to draw more Dwarves from the Fornicator family tree. It would be kind of ironic to name one of these Dwarves "Ferguson" now, wouldn`t it?
Fun fact, DanVzare himself was the one to inform me of his legendary Battleaxe that menaces with spikes of Battleaxe~

Man that comment chain must be in the hundreds by now. Feels like a year or so since I've started talking to Dan.Β
I was actually planning on drawing out at least a portrait (like head and shoulders) of Fergus and his descendants, but first I need to look again in legends mode to see who's related to who.

Do you play dwarf fortress by any chance, or are you just interested in the wacky scenarios it produces?Β

Well, the 1st comment is 2 years old by now, thus ... yes, that comment chain is longer than anything I had ever seen on this site. But hey, even if really being so long, it`s still fun to read it, especially when things start to get ... interesting Like the ghost of a Vampire being situated beside the drawbridge and not caring about anything in the world in one of Dan`s fortresses? Hehe, that is pretty boss, given the reputation ghosts have~
Oh boy, good luck about this and I hope the game where you can see them survived x3 I can suspect that that would be BIG family image for sure.

I`m one of people that is interested in all crazy stories and scenarios that happens inside the game, since I don`t have the skill or means in playing it myself (thanks, you bloody Linux~). And boy can the stories be as unlikely/crazy/funny as they can be ... I had actually tried to imagine how would The Hobbit look like if it would take place in DF settings together with Dan and well ... we both laughed our cheeks off over the mental images (like Smaug being killed by someone throwing a sock at him~ ).

2 years? man time flies.Β
In our current succession game we have a similar ghost just chilling and not being a menace. Dan's currently trying to invade hell, so things are getting pretty interesting
There are still a few descendants of Fergus left... although i think it's only 2 by now, and they are content to just stay in the ruins of an old fort. i see them ever once in a while in adventure mode.Β

Death by thrown sock is still more noble than death by thrown vomit, which can happen in dorf fort. Β

Indeed, time so flies ... and that even faster than a jumbo jet nonetheless.
Really? Oh my, where is that ghost situated? Hehe, can believe, since the circus`s so getting opened once this will happen. I did heard that some DF players actually went into HARDCORE BOSS mode and just colonized Hell like nothing I had seen before, but I wonder if it would happen with your shared fortress as well, as long as demons/"clows" don`t turn everyone into "fire elementals".
Awwww! That is a pretty unlucky end of a badass dynasty, even if it also makes me think in a way of "Well, that escalated quickly." as well. LOL.

... Did that actually happen to you?

This ghost is just situated in one of the main hallways in the housing area of the fort. occasionally someone will get an unhappy thought due to seeing it, but it pretty much wanders back and forth in the same hallway.Β

Once in adventure mode i killed an incoming goblin with my own vomit. My adventurer was missing quite a few limbs, so i travelled to the nearest town and retired him. seemed like a good thing to do after all he went through. or maybe he died. I forget now...Β

Ok~ Guess if just wishes to be left alone, I guess?

Oh my gods, that has got to be one of the most badass adventurers I yet to know about, abusing his own body excrement in order to kill foes, without limbs nonetheless! I can totally imagine him being like this when that unhappy Goblin attacked him:Β  Β ~ ... as well as being scared because Armok knows what is his stomach acid capable of.

He still had an arm left Β
I had another adventurer who, in his early career, lost the ability to use both his arms as he was assaulting a kobold village, so he just went through the place kicking all the kobolds to death. he was a legendary kicker by the end of it. Β
There are plenty of more badass adventurers tho. the dwarf fortress community has a lot of really bizarre stories to tell Β

Haha, thus I am a fan of this game as well, just all those stories that seem to be improbable and yet they happen because Toadie doesn`t give a single poo about anything that makes a game be like other game developers make them to be. Which also counts realism ... and when regarding that ass-kicking adventurer, now I cannot imagine the name "Sir Kicks-A-Lot" without him/her popping out first, just making kobolds kiss his/her leg until they scream I`M DEAD!

"Not dead enough!" *kick!*Β

It's too bad you have a linnux. actually, i think you're the only person I've talked to who has one. How do you like it?Β

Followed by imminent STOMP STOMP STOMP STOMP STOMP! like Mario?

It`s actually pretty good and makes you into some sort of a computer geek, since it can be customized to your liking as much as you wish it to be customized via console commands (only make sure to not wipe it completely by accident~ ), especially when you need to actually configure your USB Headset in order for them to work normally instead of Windows automatically configuring them once you plug them babies in, and it has many ways in showing desktops rather than the already-known mess Ubuntu is known for especially if you have a Kubuntu extension that makes your desktop resemble that of Windows`s and adds a bunch of nifty programs for you to use which act like replacements for Windows versions of the same programs (and they can read Windows files as well, just be careful if you plan on doing a file on Ubuntu that would be then read by Windows because Windows has a tendency to seriously distort them):
-> Calculator (Windows) - KCalc (Kubuntu)
-> Microsoft Office (Windows) - Libre Office (Kubuntu)
-> Terminal (Windows) - Konsole (Kubuntu)
-> MS Paint (Windows) - KolourPaint (Kubuntu, need to install it yourself via packages)
-> Winamp (Windows, need to install it yourself) - Amarok (Kubuntu)

There is one program that works both in Windows and Kubuntu environments though - VLC Media Player
