This peice features my co-author (Boo15 from ponyisland.org)'s OC (Dove) placed in the role of Rapunzel.

Sitting on the outside ledge of her very, very high tower, with her very, very long hair, and very, very emo attitude.

I don't know why, but when I started this, I wondered if Rapunzel ever thought about suicide. Being stuck in a tower, all alone, her prince's eyes gauged out by her captor....As cute as the Barbie-version of the fairy tale is, the situation really, really sucked. The Grimm brothers' name is extremely ironic.

I don't know exactly if she's going to be doing it in this picture.
I just know that she was suicidal in her original storyline, Dove was.
Poor thing.

And stained glass? It's very fun to draw, even though it mainly looks like fish scales right now. I'll have to color it in later to make it look even slightly good. The hair was delicious too.

Fun little factoid... I met a DA artist in RL for the first time while beginning this sketch. I have to admit, I'm getting used to strange people asking about my drawings, lawl.
