But the sad truth is...she did let go.I've always been fond of this pairing, Tim Drake and Cassandra Cain, also known as Robin and Batgirl respectively.
But with girlfriends dying, boyfriends dying, Kryptonians destroying alternate universes, ex's getting back together, and a mind-controlling supervillain, all I can do is keep my fingers crossed in hopes of these two.
I just hope my fingers don't spiral irreversably with all these crossing.
Likewise, I always view this as a curse much like they're predecessors.
"Whoever puts on these costumes will more or less go out at one point in their lives."
I'm just surprised it hasn't happened yet. But I hope it does, because it'd be funny if the curse really is true

When Steph was murdered, Cassie feared that nothing would be the same. She understood the void into which Tim now stared; it was, after all, the void in which she had lived for too long. So she held on to him as hard as she could. She never let him be alone, either literaly or figuratively. She found a way to communicate her friendship, loyalty and love that could transcend her inadequate ability to speak.
Then, one day, Tim smiled again... and Cassie realised that he would never let her go either.

You known this picture is a bit ironic... Spoiler was Robin's girlfriend and Batgirl's best friend while Superboy was briefly Batgirl's crush and Robin's best friend. Kind goes full circle.
It is not orginal, a 'Robin' falling for a 'Batgirl'. It's been done by Dick and Babes. I like this paring more than TimxCassie.

It would just be a better story if Tim and Batgirl got together. (Did you know Batgirl joins the Teen Titans in the future one?).
I think you did wonderfully on this, Drew. You're just too awesome at this stuff. I like how you have Tim appearing as if he contemplating to stay with her or not. Cassandra's face makes me think of a lost child. *growls* Why can't I do that?
Tim's fists curled into a ball is really cool and Cassandra's cape I keep staring at...
