Lots of people on the internet say they didn't like it. Personally, I thought it was fantastic! I like how it used songs to say what happened. (Of which, were all fantastic.) Also, so many references and continuity! Larson really is my favourite writer. c:

Only thing I didn't like was how quickly she learnt how to fly. @_@

From what I've seen, most people loved it, and if some people didn't like it,that's okay, you can't please everyone.

And the fact that she learned to fly so quickly doesn't bother me, since it was done in order to have a great way to close the episode, honestly.

Also, Derpy was sighted 6 times in the episode, a new academy record (in one them, she winks at the audience--> [link] ).

I suspect all this derpy is in part *Sibsy 's doing, who co-worked on the storyboard for the episode, but I have no proof of that, obviously.

Overall this was a great day for the fandom and an amazing way to close the season. Now we can wait for the movie and season 4 (both coming this fall amd we'll know more about them this summer during the San Diego Comicon) mostly free of the whole alicorn panic.
Also there's Equestria Girls, but being a spinoff (of which we still don't know anything at all, other than it'll have humanized ponies, and the possibly fake concept art doesn't count), I'm not worried about it and we'll know more about it in a few weeks with a trailer. And in any case, the usual ponies aren't going anywhere.

Yeah, I've seen a few people not liking the episode, and having a hissy fit over it. But, only a few thankfully. Silly.

I realized she was flying just to end it, but it still bothered me. From what we've seen of flying, it's a thing you have to learn and train for. So, the fact that she learnt so quickly bothered me.
However,I will take it out of my overall opinion for the episode because it was only a second, and that's not going to ruin a lovely end to the season. Haha.

I, for one, am looking forward to EQG since, as you may or many not know, I myself am a humanizing art. I'm looking forward to how they're going to animate and design the characters.
If it is a bad show, however, then it won't affect the ponies in any way, so... IDC.
