I actually prefer the dark look to be honest. I tried highlighting the armour when I painted my first Warrior unit and didnt like it much

oh ok.if you want, take the colour of the armour, make a highlight with that, if you have washed it before, and then a ligther colour.just a tip

I like the way you positioned the sails at the sides ... did you magnetize them for transport?
It's a nice paint job, too. The green brushed hull is really nice! Although the Dark Lances look a little too "just black" for my liking. Some green brushing around the front would have been nice, I think.

I wish I had magnetized them. Its going to be a real pain to transport it now
As for the Dark Lances, I just painted them solid black to match the rest of my army. For some reason I didnt do any highlights on the warriors when I first painted them. Wish I had now, just not willing to highlight them now the figures are assembled

That is really nice work.
The insignia, the texture on the hull, everything looks great. I also like the color choice for the eyes and the lights on the prow. They stand out nicely.

The green armour was done by basecoating it in black, followed by an even drybrush of Dark Angels Green, then an uneven drybrush of Snot Green to create the mottled effect
The rest of the colours are just various reds, metals, blues and flesh tones drybrushed in lighter colours
