Description
"Bullets and pipe-bombs were gradually scoring hits against the brutal mech of the KPA but losses were heavy, whatever they lacked in power though they made up for with Defiance".I fear that working this up from a 3d base may cause it to be invalidated but I've had a lot of fun working on this either way and learned a lot in the process so I'm glad I started but I'm also glad to finally finish and move on to something else!
Thanks for looking - basic clay render is here if you're interested.

for sure your skill is growing and this is visible......indeed the lighting and the effects are excellent.
In my opinion the mech (at least for me seem a mech) is too confused in the scene. For me this is the only problem of this work. That mech indeed would helped the scene at least 50% in plus. A portrait with this extreme cut require a giant attention for each single detail! The ruins are perfect and i understand immediately what happening in the scene! they describe wellย the scene.
To fix that problem for me is necessary use some specific detail of the mech....for example some glaw or weapon...or in any case a specific detail to recognize at least at 85%, 90% that important secondary subject. The secondary subject for me is always important!
Keep on creating with this quality! i like your effort!

Wonderful work. I love the sparkles, the lighting and their face expressions. There is something epic to it, you feel how the world goes down around them and yet they resist the despair and go on, till the end.

You're very welcome.
Well, it's not a vacation. It's an exchange project with the Konkuk University, we're having an affiliation program with them. So I will be working most of the time, but the first couple of days were free, because the setup wasn't finished. Hence the pictures. But the weekends will be free to enjoy Seoul, so I will be definitely enjoying myself.

Off course. Especially since the university is paying.
And I also hope some real will be done here, 4 weeks seem terribly short once one week has passed doing nothing...
