There are some amazing chaotica  tutorials out there, which helped me a lot. Also received some great advices from ChaosFissure & BoxTail . Learning from the best!

Still light years away from their skills though. But I can only get better with time

Ooh, those reds are lively.  The wave-shaped curve around the center adds shapes the energy in a very tangible way.  Both this, and the sharp edges, make the shapes seem like the edge of a blade being forged, so I think the title is a very apt description.  The detail from the sparks adds a nice sense of motion and energy as well!  I think that a closer crop of the central shape might be slightly more effective, as I don't think the pure white part structure in the right side of the fractal contributes significantly to what I'm seeing.

The right part was supposed to be the cold water into which the molten metal is plunged. Though I know I tend to keep too much things in my final results I guess experience will help with that
