Honestly, story-line wise, they made an excellent game. And the DLC is adding *MORE* to it. Dead Money is now available on all systems, and I've rarely heard people say they regretted getting it (A few have, but it's the typical, "Why wasn't it included with the original game? Why do I have to pay MORE?" complaints.).
Well, welcome to the new world of gaming. And welcome to business. Companies like their money, and I just think of them as Expansion Packs I don't have to go to a store to get. Those have been around for awhile.

I actually had no idea about any of the sexuality portrayal in the game when I started it, but it definitely earned a lot of my respect. Obsidian did it right
I agree! I felt more frustrated with Dead Money at parts because I sucked at it and I heard beeping in my nightmares for days, but the story was pretty sweet (and giving Elijah his due was way too satisfying). I love DLC in general - it's a great idea to add more to a game. Like mini expansions, basically!
Yep! Hell, cheap expansions, at that. Most DLCs are what, $10 at the most? Not exactly breaking the bank, there. (I love when people use the excuse that if they paid $60 for a 60 hour long game, a $10 DLC should last them 10 hours - lolwut??)

I use the Cinema-Basis for my buying entertainment. $10 or so gets me a 2-hour movie (I don't buy anything at the concession stand.). If I get more than an hour per $5 paid, I've gotten a good deal.
That said, I just bought Homefront, so we'll see how that goes.
