We're boring and realistic today. It's been raining a lot lately, and New Zealand is a little soggy because of it. So this is more or less the view from my window. Usually there's a small river there... haha

Made this in 1 hour and 12 mins or so. I didn't write that on the piece itself because I only worked that out as I was uploading it here, haha.

Interestingly, having a little mound of land in the middle of an, otherwise, undisturbed lake, means you focus on that, and then you focus on the reflections of the trees, which in turn, makes you focus on the lake itself. Otherwise, this would just look like a series of big blobs of colour.

Now go fore! And put little mounds and blemishes into YOUR artwork so you can be filled of pride, as people look at it and go "... the hell is that?.."
