Mmm.... deliciously sci-fi pulpy.
Might I ask what media you used for color? Although my gallery doesn't indicate I'm doing anything, this is a style of coloring and inking I adore for comics and would like to emulate.
Clean but expressive lines and boldly painted strokes of color.

Thanks, it's gouache, colored ink (markers), and colored pencil...

Hmm... markers... I consider them treacherous...
I seriously need to get me some gouache!
Thanks for replying!

just further info- I actually use colored ink calligraphy pens- from the scrapbooking section at Target or Michaels- I rarely use the prismacolor or other 'artist marker" they smell bad, cost too much and bleed a bit... as you say, treacherous- but these pens are a lifesaver!

Do you really! Calligraphy markers are the only colored markers I've ever used too, though only a few times. Bit of relief to hear that - I've never been fond of artist markers!

Yeah, but those guys are crazy. And broke, because those markers cost an arm, a leg, and three toes.

Epic, reminds me of Heavy Metal, Fire and Ice, and all of Frank Franzetta's work

I love it! Your style is so rad, the dino creature reminds me a bit of Westwind from the movie Wizards. : D
