Technical Fluff:
Following the relative success of the powerful but expensive and rare M-76 Revenant in the Terminus, Earth based Hahne-Kedar Shadow Works was commissioned by Alliance Special Forces to create a weapon with similar characteristics, but with a lower cost and easier maintainance.
The result, the rugged MR-9 Storm Heavy Support Rifle combined the power of heavy semi-automatic battle rifles and the supressive fire of fully automatic and burst rifles while still retaining reasonable mid to long range accuracy in itβs burst and single shot settings.
Often referred to by Alliance Spec-Ops armorers as a bastard child of the M-99 Saber and a M-8 Avenger, the MR-9 is still an incredibly expensive weapon and at a loaded weight of 43Kg is heavier than many Anti-Materiel Rifles making it suitable only for specially augmented Alliance units.

I like it, but I prefer using my favourite duo: M-98 Window and Scimitar shotgun!

"The Scimitar is one of the few guns in the game that, if used by the right player, will never cease to be useful."
From Mass Effect wiki: [link]
I'm one of those right players: Your argument is invalid.

You can learn a lot in 2 years. I was around your skill level when I was 18, although I think you're far better than I cam at setting out interesting scenes.
I love watching people get better, I recently befriended one of the artists who got me interested in 3D all those years ago when his art was in a magazine I picked up at the age of 16.

Wow. That's awesome. Yeah I started late last year and have learned quite a bit, all on my own too. Which has really made it difficult for me several times, but I manage. Practically live off of YouTube now. And thanks! I really appreciate it. The only thing really I haven't figured out at this point is texture mapping and all of that other magnificent stuff.

The big fat cinema4D manual(back when they had a printable one), CGsociety and C4Dcafe were my sources of info, mostly just reading up on stuff other people had posted and seeing if I couldn't solve the strange problems people posed on those forums.
I was very surprised when I began being one of the people that others actually expect to have solid advice!

Yeah, I don't know that happened to my manual I had. My whole box is missing really.... And i've been to C4D Cafe only a couple times.
That's pretty cool. Hey well, I may just have to come to you for questions I may have in the future now.
