I guess it can be considered admirable to be a perfectionist, buuut in Splatoon, you're only given like 3 minutes to cover everything. :VJUST MY INKLIN OVER THERE WITH OCD.

I RELATE SO MUCH
But in a different way. I (as in the real-life me) have mild obsessive-compulsive disorder, which can be either a saving grace or a screw depending on the game. So we have scenarios where me inking the little nooks and crannies everyone else misses actually gives us the match, and other scenarios where I would waste hours on end trying to finally get that one Green Star , Puzzle Piece , etc.

Right right, that's what I based this picture off of essentially. I've got these quirks where I MUST have this or that in alphabetical/numeric order, or I MUST collect everything collectible on a screen in a game (kleptomania much?), or like I MUST keep items on a square table bother parallel and at 90 degrees. And don't get me started on those green stars in Mario 3D World, hahaha--I wouldn't let myself proceed to the next level if I had missed any of them in the stage prior.

I do the same damn thing with the green stars as well! At least I'll never not have enough to continue the game...
And I have a little self-imposed challenge to get absolutely everything of interest in Mario 3D World's boss levels on the first go, to make them actually seem special. You can imagine that gets annoying, having to restart a level because I didn't get something or I didn't get the top of the flagpole. And the puzzle pieces in Tropical Freeze...oh god. Some of those are absolutely EVIL, possibly even more dickish than 3D World with its collectibles. The Rocket Barrel levels come to mind, having to follow a line of bananas or something; I mean, LOOK AT THIS BULL: [link]
The real kick in the teeth is that the puzzle pieces don't even count toward 100% completion, meaning I'm subjecting myself to all this pain and misery FOR NAUGHT.

Nohhh Tropical Freeze is like, actually pretty challenging from what I've heard. I can agree with ya on that boss level logic, although my approach is sort of a luck-based one-time event sorta deal. In any game if I've gotten to a boss level, my ambitions are to defeat the boss WITHOUT dying, otherwise the fight just sorta looses its charm. Like like, dying to the last guy in Metal Gear Rising was like "ewww no now this fight isn't as epic tho."

Sistah, try using one of 'em BIG, trombone-sized ink-brushes, not that half-pint version...
But yeah, I can relate SO BADLY with this issue. Being a DeviantArtist who puts thought and detail in his products, seeing lotsa unused space on the canvas which is the streets of Inkopolis, REALLY bugs me when trying to actually make the winning condition on turf war.

Yeah, I don't know why that game lags that much, especially since it's a 3rd person shooter...unless most FPS games do lag. (Like COD for example...)
