(EDIT: Now with added cutie marks for Junebug because I'm a noob at this and no, the background ponies don't get ones because I'M DONE FOR NOW.   )

OH MAN 18+ HOURS OF WORK ON THIS THING. My hand is ready to fall off. This is why I don't do comics (or backgrounds. Who thought this was a good idea, again???)

Moving on, we're finally going to discover who or what Junebug really is in this two-page comic (BECAUSE ANYTHING MORE THAN THAT AND I'LL COMBUST )! I'm super excited to reveal her identity, since no one was able to figure it out in my last Junebug post.

This is also a great way for me to finally break myself into comic-making because it's something I'd definitely like to try my hand at, so, since this is my first comic, please forgive the sloppiness! I'd give myself a 6 out of 10 for how it came out, haha. But practice makes perfect! I wanted to challenge myself with perspective and backgrounds in this, WHICH WAS TOTAL HELL, but, again, practice. I can be patient... sort of. Oh, and I decided to just use black line-art because doing it otherwise would have totally SUCKED. Uh-uh, I ain't gonna deal with that headache.

Anyway, this is just a quick view of Junebug's day: going around Sugar Flats and just checking up on her friends! (Decided to throw in Sandy and Prim just for kicks and giggles,hehe) I mentioned before that friendship means everything to her, so her whole day would totally be devoted to it. Once the sun starts to set, however, her mission is done and she can fly back "home"... Completely far away from the town, out in the outskirts of Sugar Flats, like I mentioned over here . At least she has a (leaky) roof over her head.

I hope you enjoyed the first page! I'm not sure when I'll be able to finish off the second one, since today is my last day of Spring Break, which I'm totally bummed about, but hopefully by next weekend I'll have the last page for you all. In the meantime, keep guessing who or what Junebug is!
