Ryan walked into the lab, the flyer he had snatched from the bulletin board still clutched in his hand. "Is this the place offering $500 for medical testing?" he asked.

A prim female lab tech in a white coat answered his question while taking his vitals. "Five hundred per day, assuming you cone back for the booster in a week. Short on cash, are you?"

"You may feel some slight discomfort," the tech said. "Let me know if you want a painkiller."
