I'll be honest, I don't like G3 Pinkie Pie much, but I prefer her colours to G4 Pinkie's.

I think this is really awesome! It's really interesting to see how a few different colors can change how we see a pony.

That's what I like about recolors. That and it's fun to see what colors suit what ponies. Fluttershy's colors for example go great with many different designs.

Yep. It's why I do these recolors. Looks can play a big role in how we perceive characters in first introductions so it's interesting to wonder how we might see them had they used different colors or designs.
