I think Star Swirl looks adorable now, and it's satisfying to think that we were able to work out how her hair would look like at a standstill. I'm very pleased with this turnout.
And, uh... You can delete those two other versions if you want to. I won't mind.

No problem! Sorry it took so long. It took much longer than I had planned. Unfortunately life has a way of not listening to your plans and does it's own thang. And I'm happy you're happy with it. ^^ As for her hair, I agree. It's more complicated than it looks. Part of me wants to consider trying to do a "screen accurate" version of her but that'll have to wait for another time.

Well I've planned on using her box art for recolors from the start but since I'm remaking the bases for the main cast, I may do a show styled base for her at some point. Got too much else to do right now though.

Well, I guess the box art technically isn't show style... At least, I doubt it was Lauren Faust who designed Star Swirl, along with Lily Blossom, Daisy Dreams, and Rainbow Flash. They all look different from show characters, particularly in the hairstyles, and yet they share a certain trait in those hairstyles that leads me to believe that they were all designed by the same person. Wish I knew who.
Anyway, I guess I have no input on this. Good luck on whatever else you have to do!
