True Shape:

This is the second of four pictures showing how a vicious daemon incarnates in the physical world. I wanted to tell you a little of a background story to these pictures to illustrate it a bit more.

I was inspired by some texts about daemons in the Warhammer 40000 and Warhammer Fantasy universe and by the amazing model of the Lord of Change. So all who know about these will certainly recognize some aspects although I didn't cling to every tiny detail. All the others don't have to worry, I'll tell you everything you need to know in the corresponding comments.

So here is the second part:

"Once the daemon has found a host it strengthens his body with its unnatural essence giving him an almost boundless potential. No harm will be done against the possessed, all his plans will succeed and all his aims will be reached.
Blinded and intoxicated by his sudden prosperity he will drop all caution against the daemon. In his arrogance he doesn't recognize how the entity inside him grows stronger like a parasite nourishing on its host's feelings and ambition. Slowly, step by step, the daemon will manipulate the possessed poisoning his mind with false promises and advices until the victim cannot distinguish between his own and the daemon's aims.
Finally the day comes when the daemon is strong enough to challenge its host. In the previous days and weeks it has gained control over the body which is now his prison and gate to the physical world at the same time. Then suddenly it will show its true shape and true intention and the first and last fight between the human and the daemon begins. A fight to the finish about the upper hand in this daemonic symbiosis. A fight that can't be won by the mortal..."
