Yeah, so I'm already bored with my most recent blog/portfolio design and I haven't even gotten it up yet, so here's an even better one!_______________________
If you're worried about the 45 degree corners, I've already been asked about them and I'll be adding an option where you (the user) will be able to switch between 45 degree, 90 degree (square) and rounded corners.

I'm still unsure about the 'Gallery' page. Do you think I should remove that right 'Categories' content box and put two designs per row or leave it as is?

Though, I fail to see how me replying is showing that I would 'like to be in the crowd'? This is my own page, not someone elses. It's rather sad how you cannot even think of your own insults. It's a nice nice design and easy to view but like you say I don't know if you need some extra work on that gallery page - it all looks a little scattered and hard on the eyes.
I would probably keep the categories box but give it something like height:100% and then stroke/outer shadow your portfolio snippets so they are a little defined.
Great background you've got going on and I like the menu functionality too!

I might just remove the content box altogether; more room for art! But yes, I do need to define the previews/snippets a little bit more.

I'm not sure whether this one came with PhotoShop or whether I downloaded it from deviantART; I was just looking through all the patterns I had on my computer and I had an absolute shitload of flower patterns. Just search for them on here; there's bound to be lots.

it's really good, but you have some cut contents.
I woukd use verdana or tahome and not arial.

I'm actually really getting pissed off with Arial at the moment. Whenever I save a design that I've used Arial in, and then I go to re-open it, the font gets changed to Arial Caps. Hence if I want to change any text, I have to click 'Okay' on some shitty dialog, select all the text, then change the font, THEN change the text. Which is really, really annoying after awhile.
