I got bored of studying for Uni and we'd just moved in to a new house so I had no internet to waste my time on (lol
), so I decided that I'd update an old design of mine, searchEngine. Just a few modifications and additions were done:- Decided to make it a three-column design with the third column being for saved search results. For instance, you can go through the search results and save the ones that you like then you can visit them after you've got all your relevant items.
- Modified the 'Search Items' column to not only including the number of results (now underneath the search item's text) but also the number of pages that the search has.
- Added the ability to remove search items and the newly introduced saved results after realising that there actually was no way to remove previous searches - I thought that was a pretty major flaw.
- Added scrollbars to both the search items column and the saved results column.
The only dilemma I'm facing now is what to place in the footer of the saved results column - any ideas? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
