I began making this scene today as a test, but as I went along I decided to refine it into what you see here. I'm actually pretty pleased with how it turned out, and the only thing that really bugged me was the difference in the level of detail between the original file and this smaller version.
This is as close as I can get it but I really had to wrestle with the settings to save the little details.That said, I'm always looking for areas of improvement so any feedback and/or constructive criticism are greatly appreciated. My goal is to get better as I go and learn more every day so feel free to drop any thoughts here!

i like it...but um...i think it would look better if that star light didnt reach from the top of the image all the way to the bottom..
kinda like...seperates the image a bit...it would look smoother without it being so large.

Thanks very much for the comments - I think your point about the light source is a good one and I'll have to take that into consideration for next time.
