Okay, I decided to try out Nautilus, after fiddling with it I got it to work the way I want. I got the ximian theme from http://jimmac.musichall.cz/themes.php3?s kin=2 and the wallpaper from here at devart . The MP3 player is GQMpeg and an Eterm running irc with oblivion script. The info script is a small bash script written by me which pumps out sysinfo and takes a snapshot.Ohh and distro is Gentoo and Window Manager is Enlightenment with Garrett's spiffE theme.

Just wondering how long you used nautilus for? I think I tried it for about 2 days just to give it the benefit of the doubt. Havn't used it since
