Shep is a youth who attends Cagefort Academy. Not much is known about him outside of school, but he is quiet, suave and sophisticated, having met Karen soon after she came to Fort Mercy and being a supportive friend as she gets used to her new home. Shep is also a lead in the school's dance and theatre classes and has also preformed a number of solo shows, winning over many in the school.
