Such fun designs! I love your cartoony style, focus on shapes, varied line widths, and color palettes... all of which I'm striving to improve on. Good work!

Thank you! I'm trying to combine the strengths of traditional and digital art, and to become more of a colorist. I don't draw well with a tablet, and digital inking takes FOREVER for me. So I'm experimenting with traditional drawing and inking, then scanning that and just adding a digital lines for places where I want the lines thicker, and then digitally coloring and texturing. It's been a fun journey, and I hope to get it down to a science soon enough.

It takes practice, but you an get used to it! What do you use to draw digitally?

A... monoprice tablet? Medium sized? I love it, best I've ever had. I just don't have the most steady hand. I may need to invest in a screen tablet (?) or touch-screen computer to do digital drawings.

All I use it a Wacom Intuos 3 tablet and a laptop.

What program do you use? Clip Studio has built in smoothing and you can get Lazy Nezumi for Photoshop that smooths out your strokes too. Covers unsteady hands. I use both.

Mostly Paint Tool Sai. I'm sure it's just a matter of practice. Narrator: 100 years later... "I finally mastered digital drawing!" *dies of old age*

*looks up Lazy Nezumi* Ooh! Amazing! Yeah, Paint Tool Sai is really fun and versatile. I don't utilize all its options as much as I could, but it's so easy to work with. I've loved it from day 1. Other art programs are fantastic, but took me longer to get used to. Paint Tool Sai is quite intuitive.

I love drawing in Clip Studio. I can color a bit in it too, but it is quicker for me with Photoshop.
