This was not okay. This was going too far.

Catherine was much, much taller than her brunette boss now, but Jane was still just that - her boss! She wasn't going to let one of her junior staff treat her like this. She had tried being diplomatic, but a different tact was required.

"Catherine!" The pint-sized team leader called out, her voice impatient. "This isn't funny anymore! We're going to drive to the labs right now and we're going to fix this!" The little woman put her hands on her hips, a pose that she often struck when scolding her team. Jane's voice had recovered some semblance of her usual authority but looking up at the towering Catherine - it was difficult to hold fast to that conviction.

The redhead seemed to be listening - if only for a moment - then a wide smirk creased her alabaster face.

Jane was not pleased. "Don't you da-... Hey!"

The diminutive boss was cut off as Catherine reached down and scuffed the hair of her previously-imposing superior. "Sorry, Jane. You're very difficult to take seriously." Her voice had taken on a slightly sing-song tone - echoing the idea that the proud Jane was more akin to a child now.

"And when you say, 'we're going to drive to the labs'..." Catherine folded her arms beneath her impressive breasts, leering over her victim. "You really mean, 'me', right? I don't imagine reaching the pedals would be easy for you and I didn't bring a car-seat..."

Jane felt her fists ball as her panic and anger turned to true loathing. "Catherine, if you don't..."

Yet the redhead cut the brunette off once more - clearly she didn't extend an adult's respect to her dwindled superior. "And besides, you can't go out dressed like a 'big girl'. Let me take you upstairs and find you something more appropriate..."

Jane felt beads of sweat begin to rise on her skin. "W-what are you saying...?" It was becoming clear that there may be more to this little display than proving a point about the functionality of their RnD tech.

Catherine's voice lowered, her tone was even but it was tempered with force. "I'm saying, you better get moving, sweetie. Right now."

Jane swallowed nervously. This wasn't good at all.
