Made for a D&D world-building project I have going on on tumblr. This is pretty heavily based on the Chinese concept of the four symbols representing the four directions. Read the full text here .

North - turtle, winter, snow, midnight, water, black
East - dragon, spring, rain, dawn, wood, green-blue
South - bird, summer, heatwave, midday, fire, red
West - tiger, autumn, fog, dusk, metal (and ghosts), white
