Description My heart flutters
And my mind races desperately
As I struggle for the simple words
To say 'hello'.

At the sight of you
My soul stands still
And my brain shuts down,
And everything around me
Seems to vanish

For your smile mesmerizes me,
Consumes me and intoxicates me
And I lose myself for gazing in your eyes.

I want to move in clsoer
But how can I
When I'm too afraid
To take even the smallest step?

You're just out of reach
And I can't convince myself
To jump.

Titles are always really annoying, I find. And yet I think they can be the key piece for a poem.

whispers of hello
are the only thing on my mind;
yet no breathe escapes my lips

I'm usually pretty bad at titles unless I have one in mind when I start writing. I just need them to be perfect and always worry that they're not. Yay being a perfectionist!

Half the time, I start with a title

Yeah, I like to do that when I can. When I have a really good thought I'll focus on that (like "Was it a Dream"), but so many times it's just a word/thought/emotion dump and then titles elude me. They are so good at doing that. Or maybe I'm just bad at catching them. I guess I need more work on my ninja skills, huh?
