Description
This is what Tim wrote about me and our shoot:"Erin is a truly fantastic model, staggeringly inventive and flexible, not to mention beautiful! She was a real pleasure to work with; friendly and approachable but also highly professional, and with a great understanding of how her body appears from different angles - in fact working with her almost felt like cheating, as she moved effortlessly from one superb pose into another! She was also more than happy to be directed into my own ideas, and gave me plenty of useful feedback and suggestions which definitely improved the images.
I can honestly say I was extremely impressed, even given her superb reputation, and I can't recommend her highly enough."

Beautiful pose. I especially like the shapes between your left arm and body and the triangular shape formed by your right arm - lovely.

Good pose. Tim did a good job with lighting as well. Your skin looks almost silver in this shot.

Spectacular pose! And I like the lighting and sepia-tone processing.
The title is very evocative, especially to me, since as a musician I work with harmonics all the time. How did it suggest itself? Was it the photographer's idea, or yours?

Thank you!
Tim had some fun lighting ideas, so I really enjoyed getting creative with poses.
The title came from a very stream-of-consciousness process for me. I couldn't think of anything at first, so I started looking at it and saw the echoed shapes of my left arm and leg. I saw it like a melody and harmony on a staff, and then the light tones of the photo led me to think of harmonics. (I've been a musician for 25 years.) Random, but there you go!

Ha! Another musician! I play mostly woodwinds, flute and oboe and recorder now clarinet, and also piano. What do you play?

Violin is my main instrument, but I have at least dabbled in 16 others ranging from mandolin to electric bass to trombone. Can barely get a sound out of a flute or clarinet, but for some reason oboe and tenor sax came to me more easily. Strangely enough!

That happens! You never can tell which instruments will "harmonize" with your body and spirit. In my case, I love all instruments and can play most of them, at least a little. I never had much luck with trumpet and horn, but I can do trombone--or could; just a few years ago I tried again and, well, it sounded more like breaking wind than a serious instrument.
That's all right; I'm very busy on my other instruments.
