These bebs are a closed species created by Kuriesu /Romesu

these bbies are a cross between manta rays + butterflies + bunnies + flowers (aka a mess)
any suggestions are welcome ;v;
(and im willing to offer an MYO of them if I decide to use your suggested name!)

LORE: (brief draft)
What are they:
- they are creatures who guide boats that are lost at sea
- reborn from souls of lost sailors
- are considered sea fairies by humans
- they are quite sociable and will work together to guide a boat to safety or their destination
- they are great a geography (lol) - able to memorise many places allowing them to navigate to locations easily.
- have poor eyesight so usually rely on echo location - makes noises and listens to them by using the tips of their wings which are sensitive to sounds.
- have both 'human' and rabbit ears (a mix of forms - their past human and current anthropomorphic)
- usually use their 'manta' wings to propel them through the water
- their appendages are heat sensitive allowing them to stay in waters that are tolerable for their bodies.
- if they go into waters that are too hot or cold for them they can over heat or freeze and die.
- they grow petals (never any 'full' flowers) at the base of their ears, on their ankles and hips, which can release chemicals into the water which attract others.
- they communicate with each other through the chemicals they emit and receive from their petals.
- they are also able to share memories/knowledge through the chemicals.
- there are two types: arctic and tropical
- the two types rarely interact due to their inability to tolerate the same water temperatures but they are friendly towards each other.

Arctic:
- arctic are 'fluffier' as they live in colder temperatures
- have a higher metabolism needed to generate heat in their bodies (wowo my bio knowledge lol) so they have large appetites.
- usually hide fat in the fluff around their necks.
- can hibernate if needed.
- stay in groups but have a higher change of going solo compared to tropical types.
- often eat small crustaceans and fishes and rarely plants.

Tropical:
- not as fluffy - they are more sleek to keep cool in warmer waters
- dont hibernate
- have a smaller appetite (does not need as much fat to keep warm)
- prefer to stay in groups
- often eat plants and rarely small crustaceans and fishes.
