I would draw some, but I am a writer.

I do have one distinct note when it comes to penguins. I have been bitten by penguins on two seperate occasions.

Important note: When petting a penguin, always keep your hands where they can see them. They have sharp little beaks.

If you like the little guys as much as I do, that really sucks.

At the zoo I was at, they have Argentinian penguins. Warm weather critters. They had a pool and a place to get out of the sun.

There was a little chain looped around the enclosue. That was it. If a zoo goer wished, they could easily step over the chain. (it was a nice, black, wrought iron chain mind you.)

Likewise, penguins could amble past the two foot gap between one chain post and a tree.

Usually everybod kept to themselves, but every now and then a penguin needs to explore. My time to pet. They are cute and friendly, just don't get your hand in front of their face. They have sharp little beaks.

P.S.

They like to be scratched on the back of the neck at the base of the skull. They make cute noises when you do that.
