Thank you very much for your comments. I am just getting used to DeviantArt, but am proud to say I bought the T shirt! I am 48, am moderately computer savvy, and am moving towards things a step at a time. I wanna put a page together this summer, and I also want to work on more varied materials. Anyhow I used colored pencil like a paint brush to create the softness of line in the drawing you commented on.
Ain't expression grand!
