Description There was so much humidity in the air this summer when I got out to take pictures in a local historic cemetary that the lens fogged over causing some interesting effects

this is one of those awesome happy accidents that you can never recreate
the picture itself is well done, good contrast and composition (i really like the line of the gate pushing our eye into the cemetary) but the fog shrouds it in mystery.
maybe there's some ghost photographer buried there that decided to give you this wonderful shot!

I've often thought there was someone kinda fascinated with my comings and goings from there. This is the cemetary up in Kingston, and it fascinates the b-jeezis outa me. For one thing, Washington stood in there with his generals and whatnot after the Battle of Princeton and made the decision to "get outa Dodge". there are so many other stories written into the stones there. A direct decendent of Pocahontas and John Rolf lays here, a winner of the Croix de Guerre, and whole families wiped out in quick epidemics. It's founders, and farmers, and veterans of the war of 1812. I get "unstuck in time" in there. thank you so much for commenting. Please write when you get a chance.
