Just fyi, The rail on the top of that rifle (and most other military rifles) Is a picatinny rail, which is about .835 inches wide at the widest point.
[link]
so you could base the width of your models on the width of the top rails.

Ahhh...thank you.
I'll have to figure out if there is a way to measure in Maya though..
..I think there is.

You are welcome, usually If the weapon has other rails (like on the side, like on your UMP model) they too are Picatinny rails.

Woah. This is, with no doubt, deserving all the praise in the world. Not one single detail is over looked. What did you use?

Eh... that must be my mistake. Sorry! I probably read wrong somewhere.

Really nice! The name is wrong, though. That model is M82, you wrote M95.

Where did I write that? O.o
I originally named it the M82, but then I found out most of my reference images were actually of the M107.
Thanks though.

You mean AR-15?
Anyway model looks a bit wider than it should be but everything else looks perfect

Yeeeah that's what I mean lol.
Thank you.
I think all my weapon models are too skinny or too wide lol..
I have yet to find a front or back view of a gun, so I gotta got by what I think.

Thanks.
Just keep practicing.
I learned mostly by myself, although I did take an 8 week summer course.

Only thing I'd add to the model is a pulled back loading-mechanism with a round in the chamber.
This is Really sweet! ^^
