Description Finished commission for of her character, Honeycrisp, with her mate,Β Destrier. The both of them are soon-to-be parents, and Honey's well along her pregnancy here.


So, these two were just adorable to draw together. Just something about drawing pairs (doesn't have to be romantic) that has an obvious size difference makes me want to go D'AAWWWWWWWWWWW. I also love how real horses sit so... awkwardly. It's almost like they don't really know how to sit; it's beyond adorable. xD Also, this is the first time I drew a pregnant pony! O:

Omigosh I so agree about the sitting. I just recently had to draw three ponies sitting at two different angles and I had a hard time balancing realism with how they sit in the show. I suspect they have trouble because of how rounded and muscled their croup is lol. You pulled it off much more adorably though, I'm so jealous. As for the size difference...I must admit I'm just wincing at the thought of her impregnation haha. Oww.
