Description
Commission WIP sketch for Shereth, of his character of the same name. This is of his male dragon character as a anthromorphic snake/dragon hybrid (basically a Naga of sorts).Said character is in a grotto, preparing to change the end of Autumn to the beginning of Winter.
I've always wanted to work with red and blue in some sort of contrast to each other, and this commission presented the opportunity. I just might experiment with this one, just as I have with the last few commissions.
I also got to have some Artistic Freedom with this one, and boy... it's an understatement to say I had fun drawing this character, especially since I've never drawn an anthromorphic snake before. :3 He's not suppose to look COMPLETELY snake in the face, but it's there.

I say this looks most extraordinary Also it is nice that you had fun drawing this cause I wouldn't the patients to draw all those scales and how the body just coils around itself.

It wasn't all that hard, though. All you gotta do is draw "U"s throughout the body. c:

It took a little, but drawing scales are relatively easy, once you find a flow to it. xD

I think the slightly more lizard/dragon head sets him apart from other nagas, which is good since change can be welcome when you see the same thing after a while. I think you've done some fantastic work here, and good luck with coloring!

wow, he looks amazing! And the character concept for him also looks awesome. A dragon-snake hybrid of sorts. :3 (wants to glomp the awesome snake dragon, but doesn't know if he is venomous).

Aw, thank you! ^^ The owner allowed me mostly artistic liberty on how he looked, but he came up with all the cool stuff about the fella. xD (I had to get rid of the wings, though)
I'm pretty sure he is venomous, but I don't think he'll bite. :3 He's too nice! xD
