"Houkiboshi" - the third ending song in the Anime, Bleach. The ending sequence inspired me to draw Raphael and Guardian Eatos together.In case you didn't know, Raphael (the "big muscle guy") and Eatos (the lady in the background) are from the Anime called Yu-Gi-Oh. I'm a big fan of Raphael and his Guardian monsters, he's my favourite Doma character. Just the fact that Raphael-sama doesn't have enough fans and fanart works (the poor guy), drove me to do this.
Overall, I think I did an okay job. Raphael's face and hands (I really suck at drawing hands) could've been better. After five or so practice sketches, you'd think I'd get it right... but, no... hopefully I'll improve with time, HOPEFULLY. Oh, I left out the Orichalcos stone on purpose. As for Eatos, I'm pretty impressed with how she turned out.
That's all I have to say with this piece. ...almost forgot, Raphael and Guardian Eatos are both owned and copyrighted by Kazuki Takahashi.

This is absolutely wonderful!! I'm so excited to put a comment here...I guess I'm strange that way! 
I really like Gaurdian Eatos in the back. She is so pretty, and it adds the perfect...mood I guess i could say, to the whole piece. I just love the way her eyes seem to be drawing people in to look at everything. I don't know if that makes any sense, but I think you have succeeded successfully on the Gaurdian Eatos background! It's absolutely wonderful!
Ah, now I get to talk about my favorite part of the piece...Raphael! I don't know if I'm the ONLY one in the world who thinks Raphael kind of has a sensitive side...maybe it's because he seems so shy. That's what I think. Anywho I think you've captured his sort of sensitive side. Maybe it's because he's pictured here with his Gaurdian Eatos, the one gaurdian in which he loves the most and I guess has a real speciall bond with (that sounds kind of creepy 
Anywhoo, I know I'm rambling A LOT on this pic, but I just love the way you've done everything! It's a very beautiful piece and I think you've captured Raphael perfectly. Wonderful job! Keep up the excellent work, and I hope you draw more of him someday!!!

Mew, this is soo cool!!!! ^w^ I think you did a great job at drawing Raphael; being the bigger, more bulky type of guy is hard for lots of artist, since we tend to be more used to the smaller ones...but you did great! And you did an excellent job on the hands, which for many people is quite a challange! You got the outfit done right, and I love his legs and boots! Only thing I could say is you made his eyes a bit too wide; they need to be a bit narrower. Everything else looks pretty damn good! I love Guardian Eatos in the background..she ish so pretty, my fave duel monster from Raphael's deck ;D Splendid coloring job, I shall have to fave

Thank you for the kind compliments, I really appreciate it. Now that you mentioned it, I DID make Raphael-kun's eyes a bit too wide, didn't eye. You see, whenever I draw something, I always get this feeling that something's off or I made some mistake. More often than not, I don't know what that is and drawing Raphael was no exception. Thank you for pointing that out. Now I know what I need to work on when I draw the next one.

Oh wow...*_* That is quite possibly the most beautiful fan art for Raphael I've ever seen (seriously). This looks fantastic! I am so envious of how well you managed to pull of his muscles--those are a real killer for someone (like me

Ah, yes, Raphael's overall physique is rather hard to draw, at least for me. He's the first big, muscular character type I ever had to draw. When I finished drawing him, I thought I went a little over board with his muscles, making him look too bulky. But I left him just the way he is anyway simply because anymore erasing and I would've bore a hole through the paper ^_^; Thank you again for stopping by ^_^
