Yes I do realize that half a century is 50 years, while I was typing I did mean to put in millennium so that they live 500 years. I'm not changing it right now. If you remind me again about this I will just ignore you or laugh at you since you didn't bother to read the artist comment. Which would mean you wouldn't see this... Bleh, whatever XD

Good golly! I spent the last three or so days doing this. I wasn't happy with them since I lacked the ability to shade them properly so I just said screw it... Anyway I hope you enjoy the creature profile. This is a creature of my own creation so please don't steal the idea, it would be rude and I would dislike you forever.
So this creature is called an Azer'oc pronounced Az-er-ock. They are also known as Storm Riders in basic speech. I might end up actually using these creatures for something someday and editing the way they look so... yeah. Anyway, you guys are welcome to make up your own Azer'oc if you want. I don't mind. Doubt any of you will but still ;D
Just to let you know, I may end up doing a part 2 to this since this is only "Basic Information". There is more to the mythology of these creatures and the post-apacolyptic future world of 2234 A.C.

An Azer'oc? Well, you could always draw one ;D They're rather fun to draw. Or, you could commission me to draw one, but unfortunately I am not taking commissions on these guys anymore. I may open it back up in the future so for now you're pretty much stuck just drawing it yourself ^^

Ebonycloud, may I ask how you make that texture on the Azer'ocs' skin and markings? I'd like to color mine to be as accurate as possible, though of course he'll have his own unique markings.

Well, they are dragon-like but they are a creature entirely made up by me ;D They aren't a real dragon in the conventional sense, though they have many of the same characteristics

I know, I mean to go back and edit it but I haven't really had the time. PLus I would have to redo part of the paragraph which is layered down so its gonna take some maneuvering :/ I will go back and edit it though!

very understandable. i could imagine you were very busy with cat and requests/commissions and the written New Clans and probably with a lot of other stuff, so its no big deal. It just confused me 'cause i saw in the description of the finished requests that some of them were around 120 years old, so it confuzzled me, lol.

sorry if you've already answered this question, but do they have live babies or eggs? I was thinking of maybe creating a male and a female with their baby, and I was curious if I'd draw the mother pregnant?

They lay eggs but their stomachs distend before they lay the eggs. Since the eggs are a little larger than the size of an ostrich egg, they can appear "pregnant" but they do lay the eggs shortly after ^^ So if you wanted to draw a family scene it would probably be best to draw them with an egg ;D

I didn't really think they were all that special when I created them since I've known about them for maybe a year now.Yet when I put the Azer'oc up on here lots of people just fell in love with them. I am honestly surprised! They weren't difficult to come up with, neither was the world the live in ^^"

being honest here... when i first saw them i thought, "I WANT TO RIDE ONE." i used to ride horses, and they're like horse/dragon hybrids so i was like, "NO. I TAKE IT BACK. I INTEND TO CROSS THE POND WITH ONE." haha. i'm a little nuts.
and if i ever come up with something better (which is extremely doubtful), i think i'd have to draw a battle scene between the two. but i think my creature would live in the sea, despite my phobia of the depths of the ocean. ^^'
